The Bridge Between Rec & Comp.
When it comes to player development, simple is always better. The same goes for finding the right place for your kid to grow.
Our academy is designed for players who want more than recreational soccer, but who didn't make a comp team. Our core focus is simple, effective player development offered at an affordable price.
Who It's For
The academy is for players who just want to play, players who didn't make club soccer, and anyone who loves the game and wants to get better.
Academy Details
We're launching with a one-month beta group in July for U10–U14 boys and girls.
Each age group is limited to 10–20 players and trains once per week for 60 minutes at Copper Creek Park in Herriman, Utah.
The beta includes 4 sessions at $30 each ($120 total), with elite coaching and weekly opportunities to improve.
The Training Format
Most of our training is built around small-sided games like 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4.
In a full-sided game a player might only touch the ball a handful of times, but in small-sided games they're constantly involved: more touches, more decisions, more confidence.
Players learn faster because they're actually playing instead of standing around waiting for the ball.
What Happens After July?
After the beta, the academy continues in quarterly training blocks, August through October and March through May, with more age groups possibly opening up.
Beta players get first access to future spots.
Limited Spots
Groups are intentionally small because that's where real development happens, so every player gets attention and a lot of touches each session.
Once an age group fills up, registration closes until the next block.
If you've been looking for something between rec and competitive soccer, this may be exactly what you've been searching for.

Your Academy Coach
I'm Kip Critchlow. I was four year starter at BYU and have over 25 years experience playing and training soccer players.
The KC Soccer Academy is the step between rec and comp. It's a place where players can actually develop without the club politics and pressure.
